How to Use?
Face & Body Scrub
Wet your face and body then apply the dry powder on your skin. Gently exfoliate your skin and rinse off.
Scalp & Hair Massage
Make a paste of Mung Bean powder and water, and scrub it gently on the scalp and hair. Rinse off thoroughly. You’ll see lots of dirt coming out when rinsing off!
Face Mask
Mix Mung Bean Powder with water or yogurt, and apply on your face. Leave it till dry and wash off!
Facial Hair Remover
Mix Mung Bean powder with enough water to make a thick and smooth paste. Spread a thin layer of this paste in the direction of hair growth and let it dry. When it is completely dry, use a damp washcloth/wet fingers to rub off the mask away from the direction of hair growth and wash off with water.

Yes, our Mung Bean Powder is 100% biodegradable as it contains nothing else but bean powder alone.
2Is Mung Bean powder edible?
Yes, apart from using on your body, you can boil it and make Mung Bean Soup just add some salt and a little spice if you’d like (If you are camping, this product is highly recommended. It saves the packing space and you can even eat it!)
3Can we use it as dry shampoo powder?
Although we never used it ourselves, we have a feeling that it could work as a dry shampoo because our Mung Bean Powder can absorb the oil really well. You will have to make sure to mix it with other ingredients that suit your hair color pigment. For example, if you have black hair, add charcoal powder. For brown hair, add cacao powder. If you’ve tried it, let us know how it goes!
4Can I use it together with other Happy Earth Products?
Absolutely Some of our clients use it after using the No-Poo Head-to-Toe Wash as a shampoo because the Mung Bean Powder helps absorb the excess oil that may linger on their hair. Other clients also mix it with the No-Poo Head-to-Toe Wash and apply it on her wet body as an exfoliating body wash.
5What does it smell like?
Simply put, it smells of the beans! In fact, when using it, sometimes it feels like you are out in the middle of a bean field.
6Do you add any other ingredients to the powder?
Nope. This is a one-ingredient product and does not contain anything else.
7How to keep it?
Our Mung Bean Powder comes in a zip-lock bag. You can keep it in a cool dry place to prolong shelf life.
8How much do I need each time for a face wash?
This depends what consistency you are looking for. You can first try with half a tablespoon and mix with two parts of water. Adjust the amount and consistency the way you like.

I’ve been getting these little packets with my purchases. Love how light it feels on my face. Kinda strange to think it’s the same as the the green bean I cook in soup and make into taugeh! I don’t extrafoliate my face too often so these small packets are just nice for me.
