What is Mother Earth trying to tell us with COVID-19 pandemic. Another look at the circuit breaker from our farm.
Trees shed leaves
In respond to the changing season
Expand thier root systems and grow
Humans open their hearts
Experience the happy times and sad times.
A path for internal growth.

As we are pondering upon how much lives have been affected by this COVID-19 pandemic, the first day of Circuit Breaker in Singapore has begun. Doctors and nurses are at the front line trying to save lives. People are following social distancing and self-isolation. Courses and meetings are conducted online and many more restrictions are imposed upon us.
What a sudden change!
It seems to us that Mother Earth is trying to tell us something through this pandemic experience. What exactly is she trying to warn us?
Yes, it’s brutal, sad, unexpected and more…
With COVID-19, It’s as if Mother Earth is going through mass detoxification. When death is knocking in front of our doors creeping slowly into our close circle, We are again reminded what is truly necessary for our lives. Is it money, is it food, is it our leisure travel, is it health or what is it?
“Fear not” Mother Earth might be saying. Maybe she’s simply trying to tell us it’s time to direct our outward energy internally. Do things that we don’t get to do because more than ever, time is forced upon us. Whether it be pondering upon life, decluttering your home, spending time with your loved ones, or picking up a new hobby. It’s time to think or do things we didn’t mananage to get to because we were too busy with other things.
And as we are spending time taking care of the inside, Mother Earth is getting healed at the same time. Here in Thailand the sea turtles are coming up the the quiet shores, laying eggs. The dust and smoke in Bangkok has disappeared. There’s no more traffic as people spend less time on the road. Yes it maybe short term but it does give a glimpse of how the nature can be restored if we are just a little bit more conscious of our choice.
It will be tough for anyone who lost their jobs and those who have lost family members, but worrying about the future does not help. On the bright side of things, we are still alive and we are given the opportunity to make the best out of today and prepare our best for tomorrow.
So, maybe it’s time to find out what true happiness means to us and maybe then, we will know how to learn, live and grow with Mother Earth again.
Because when we find true happiness, we also make mother Earth happy.
Meanwhile, please take care of yourself and your loved ones. And if you have anything in excess and it doesn’t hurt giving away, please consider donating them. There are still less fortunate folks outt here who are having a very tough time.
Because sharing is caring and we all will have to get through this together.
JIA YOU to you all wherever you are. ✌✌
